The Course

Jemma and Anne-Marie have been supporting pregnant women and their families for over 20 years. They have an incredible amount of knowledge and practical, hands on experience. They are the busiest doulas in the North West, frequently attending births in all different settings, along with running regular hypnobirthing classes and providing postpartum support.

The Doula Training Foundation Course takes all the finest parts of all the training Jemma and Anne-Marie have done, combines it with their vast experience and knowledge to bring you (in their opinion!) the best and most comprehensive doula course available. When you train with us, you’ll get to be face to face with other new doulas, we don’t believe that online courses are able to create the same intimate connections so our teaching will always be in person. We purposely keep the groups small so that we can quickly build trust and be fully immersed in all things pregnancy, birth and postpartum. We offer a variety of teaching styles and learning materials throughout the four days.

After completing the course you will feel fully prepared to hit the ground running and get your own doula business off to a great start. Anne-Marie and Jemma also offer on-going support so if you're finding something a struggle or you're buzzing after an amazing birth they would LOVE to hear from you.

Who is the course for?

Anyone who wants to become a doula! You might have children of your own, you might not...that's fine! You may already be in the birth world or you might be new to all this. You may have supported a friend at their birth or you might have never seen a "real" birth before. Perhaps you work as a chiropractor, a hypnobirthing teacher or an acupuncturist and you'd like to know how you can support your clients on another level. If you like people and you learn best in a face to face environment then this is the course for you.

The Cost

The cost for the course is £888. Save your place with a £222 deposit today.

Generally speaking, most new doulas will charge a few hundred pounds for their first client and put their prices up each time, as they gain more experience. Based on this you will have earned and paid for the cost of the course after just 1 or 2 birth clients!
